The State Express Classic from the West Hants Club Bournemouth
The British Hard Court Championships have again attracted an excellent entry and as an added bonus there is also an Over-35s tournament which should rekindle a few memories.
Both last year's finalists return,
Victor Pecci from Paraguay and Balazs Taroczy from Hungary, and the British entry is headed by Buster Mottram , who has been playing so well recently.

During 1981 the archaeologists' work on the Mary Hose reached a new climax and the Mary Rose Trust's plans to raise the hull were finalised at last. The Trust is responsible for a part of our national heritage, in bringing to the surface what is left of the oldest English battleship. Chronicle reports on the Trust's progress from January 1981 until now.

Bruce Anderson lies unconscious in Recovery. In his chest beats the heart of a young road traffic victim. From his body protrude drainage tubes. Machines perform the work of his lungs. A small dot travelling across a screen indicates that he is still alive. But nurses monitor his state anxiously. This film charts the 48 hours of progress that follow the operation when, to the wonderment of his wife Kay, Bruce Anderson begins the long journey back to life.
