Wildlife Classics Tender Trap
Four plants, very different in appearance. but all with a dark secret - they eat meat! Insects beware, for these plants may be green but they're not innocent. Their diet of insects makes up for the nitrogen other plants get from the soil.
The venus fly trap ensnares insect prey in a vegetable version of a rat trap. The sundew enfolds its meal in octopus fashion. Bladderworts feed on underwater beasts with a hair-triggered blunder trap. And finally pitcher-plants entice their flying meals to a slippery slide down which they glissade to become insect-rich soup.
The strange hidden world of these tender traps is revealed in terrifying yet entrancing detail. Narrated and directed by HUGH FALKUS

Marilyn Monroe , star of this comedy masterpiece, died 20 years ago this week. Her performance as a tipsy, ukulele-playing singer in an all-girl orchestra is one of her most memorable roles.
It's Chicago 1929-the pre-depression, flapper era dominated by prohibition, hot music and tough racketeers. When Joe and Jerry, two under-employed musicians witness the St Valentine's Day massacre, they nearly become victims themselves. The only escape is a jazz band heading for Florida. With Curtis and Lemmon in drag, joining Marilyn, this spoof on gangster movies rapidly becomes one of Hollywood's most inventive comedies.
