The Cape Verde Experience II
The second of two programmes about adult literacy work in the Cape Verde Islands where the government is being advised by the Brazilian educator, Paulo Freire. It explores some aspects of the relationship between the literacy project and national development. The programme includes literacy studies at a government building site near the capital, and at a banana-growing co-operative in a rural area.
