Every day this week there's a real working model of a fairground roundabout. It turns around to an exciting sound for the poem which is about a merry-go-round. On Dressing-up Day, Tuesday, John plays a guessing game with different hats. On Wednesday, a toucan with a huge beak comes to visit the other pets in Play School. On Friday, in the experiment, Miranda divides a cake between the toys.

Two school leavers seek interesting and unusual work during summer 1967
Every year thousands of school-leavers put an advertisement in a paper, hoping to fill the long summer months with travel and adventure.
A four-part series of films with Rosemary Cunion and Lionel Took.

Rosemary works as a volunteer in an Approved School for girls and Lionel joins Youth Action, an organisation which encourages teenagers to do voluntary work.
