We want to create an art centre which will bring work, art, hopes and harmony to our local multi-racial community. There is space for drama, dance, music, painting, pottery ... we're still up to our eyeballs in dust and demolition - but we can show you the talent and potential on our doorstep.'

starring
Orson Welles , Rita Hayworth with Everett Sloane
Although Citizen Kane and The Magnificent Ambersons received phenomenal critical acclaim, Welles found it difficult to get directorial assignments, and only after Rita Hayworth , his wife at the time, had agreed to play a leading role, was he given full creative control over The Lady from Shanghai. The result is a bravura thriller with one of the most exciting endings in cinema history-a bizarre gun battle in a hall of mirrors.
