In June the London Symphony Orchestra invited the famous American violinist to spend two weeks with a small section of the orchestra in the dual role of soloist and conductor. Tonight's programme features the climax of his visit, the second half of the final concert at the Royal Festival Hall on June 23, and also includes rehearsal film and interviews with Isaac Stern and members of the L.S.O.
