Building a Future
A film made last month with a group of young Catholics and Protestants during a weekend away from Belfast. All in their teens, they have, until recently, had little or no contact with the ' other side '. What's it been like, growing up during the troubles of the past ten years?

On 1 April 1904 Henry Royce, mechanic, built a motor car for his own use and drive it home. If it had broken down or been excessively noisy the world probably wouldn't have known. But it ran smoothly and silently and the best car in the world was born. Stuart Hall recreates the journey from
Manchester to Knutsford in a 1905 Rolls-Royce 10 hp, and is followed by the latest Rolls-Royce Camargue.

A few weeks ago a state of emergency was declared at Liverpool's Walton Jail due to a Prison Officers' strike and rioting prisoners. Since then the troubles have rumbled on. Tonight Ludovic Kennedy talks to the Governor of Walton about day-to-day pressure in one of Britain's largest prisons. Bill Driscoll , who's actually been knifed by one of his inmates, also explains why he made the strange choice of becoming a jailer, and talks about the myriad problems of the prison service.
