A concert of works by each of the four composers featured in last night's documentary about the Jewish ghetto created by the Nazis during the Second World War. The Group for New Music, from Israel, performs pieces by Hans Krasa and Gideon Klein , and the BBC Philharmonic
Orchestra conducted by Israel Yinon play music by Pavel Haas and Viktor Ullmann.
"These are all works of very high quality which deserve to be heard in their own right, regardless of where they were created," says producer Simon Broughton. "What is stunning about this concert is hearing the sheer musical talent that the Nazis destroyed."
