The New Pirates
On average, two ships a week in the South China Sea are attacked. Peter Godwin tracks down Filipino pirates, criminal syndicates and a Chinese navy apparently out of control as he seeks reasons for the piracy. Apart from the risks to seamen, there is danger of an environmental catastrophe as the target ships continue under full steam, with no one at the controls, in some of the busiest sea-lanes in the world.

Romantique reconstruct
Berlioz's vast forces for the work, reviving such long-forgotten instruments as serpents and ophicleides, and are joined by soloists Donna Brown (soprano), Jean-Luc Viala (tenor) and Gilles Cachemaille (bass).
