Silver City. New Mexico, the early 50s. Mexican-American zinc miners, appalled at their conditions, begin a strike. The company gets a court order that prohibits picketing. But the law doesn't extend to the miners' wives.
This remarkable film, based on real events, was made under difficult conditions by a blacklisted writer-producer-director team.
