Earl Mountbatten of Burma A Man of Our Times
Last Sunday, 27 August, marked the anniversary of the death of Earl Mountbatten of Burma. This tribute, last shown in 1980, heralded a change in the style for obituaries - entirely due to Lord Mountbatten himself who agreed to be interviewed for the programme before his death. HRH The Prince of Wales also pays tribute to his great uncle in this memorable film. Introduced by Ludovic Kennedy.

Satisfaction
Satisfaction in life is something we all strive for. Yet how many get even near achieving it? In the first of four progammes, in which Nigel Farrell tracks down different groups of people in pursuit of very different goals, we meet the men and women who like nothing better than to dress up and pretend they're the victims of dreadful accidents; the lorry driver whose tiny garden has become a mecca for horticulturists; and the secret behind getting real satisfaction from your money - give it away!
