Beautiful Bright Flower Aitutaki , Aitutaki,
Beautiful bright flower,
The place where we were born:
Your beauty shines from the sun, the stars and the moon,
With the beauty of our song, like the grace of our dancing,
We bring our love to this land.
Thus ENNI and TITIA welcome us to their island, and give us the Polynesian view of beauty.
Director SUE PUGH
The last film in the Ealing season is a comedy from the studios whose name has become synonymous with comedy, and the first to be made in colour. As the Titfield Thunderbolt roams down the line again, the newsreel recalls headlines of the month when she made her first run.

The Films of Fred Zinnemann
Fifty years after the start of his career - 25 years after High Noon, and ten years after A Man for All Seasons - FRED ZINNEMANN has been enduring the long, hard labour yet again. Soon the critics and the public will make their judgments, but one thing is certain: nothing will undermine this man's position as the most committed and consistent of the great Hollywood directors.
In this comprehensive review of his career, he talks about his experiences and the people he has directed - actors like Spencer Tracy , Montgomery Clift , and Marlon Brando , actresses like Julie Harris , Audrey Hepburn , and Jane Fonda.
' If I am not for myself, who is for me? And if I am for myself alone, what then am I? '
