Vic Marswell , famous hunter and safari leader, is not pleased when his headquarters in the uplands of Kenya is ' invaded' by a vivacious American showgirl. But this is only the start of his problems as he is forced to choose between two beautiful women.
This remake of Red Dust was Grace Kelly 's first film after her rise to Hollywood stardom in High Noon, and she plays a married woman who falls in love with the handsome Marswell.

Victoria, now Lady Dickinson, is suddenly widowed and is forced to sell her country estate. With her 8-year-old daughter Sophie, she goes to stay with her old flatmate, Kate, in London, and there she meets Kit, who runs a recording studio. Victoria has kept up her cello playing and Kit gives her work in his group.

International television began In 1950 when a BBC outside broadcast unit went to Calais. Eurovision - the network linking western Europe's television services-started in 1954. The Telstar satellite brought live pictures from America in 1962 and worldwide television became possible in 1967. . The producers and engineers tell the story of these achievements.
