A Pattern of Building
Written and presented by Alec Clifton-Taylor
5: Bradford-on-Avon, Wiltshire
This small town, only seven miles from Bath, is best known for its mediaeval tithe barn, ' one of the most spectacular in England ', and the tiny Saxon church - ' of historic more than artistic interest'. For Alec Clifton-Taylor the appeal is more in the town's exciting hilly site, and the lovely pale yellow limestone that built a fine array of houses for the clothiers of the once-flourishing wool trade.

Alan Alda , Loretta Swit , Jamie Farr and other stars of the series talk about their roles and recall some of their favourite moments of M*A*S*H's skilful blend of laughter and tears.
In 1972, while fighting continued in Vietnam, a small group of people in Hollywood launched their own anti-war effort. Taking ROBERT ALTMAN 's black comedy, film about a medical unit in the Korean...War as their starting point, they 'produced a comedy series that nine years later- is still unique in American television.
To celebrate the success of their award-winning series, Twentieth Century Fox take viewers behind; the cameras to hear from the actors, writers and producers.
