Using recently-developed techniques of radiography, he analyses for the first time the watermarks of Mozart's own manuscripts of his ten 'Great' String Quartets, and throws fresh light on Mozart's creative methods.

She was the first African woman to work on a South African newspaper and because of her criticism of the Government's apartheid policies she was put into solitary confinement. After 18 months she was called for trial - The Trial of the 22 - and acquitted. She decided to leave South Africa and now lives in Dundee with her Scottish husband.
