for the BBC2 Trophy Leeds v Hull
Leeds, Challenge Cup winners in 1977 and 1978, have not been successful in the floodlit series in recent years. They last won the trophy in 1970 and reached the semi-finals in 1971 and 1975. Their opponents, Hull, were relegated to the second division last season but won seven out of their last nine games trying to avoid relegation. This year they have spent E50,000 on four new star players and started the season in winning form.

Tonight: Bradford Cinderella Club presents From Streets to Seaside
'In 1890 a group of Bradford businessmen got together to help the under-privileged children in their city. Known as the Bradford Cinderella Club, they supplied clothing, food and even seaside holidays for these children in need. Eighty-eight years later we still help less fortunate children, although their needs today are different.'
Made by the Bradford Cinderella Club with the help of the Community Programme Unit.
