The last of six films in which English communities still look remarkably different from each other.
Kersey, Suffolk
At the time of Domesday Book, East Anglia was the home of half the yeoman of England, independent farmers who owned their own patches. Today some of those families are still there, like The Partridges whose written family history goes back to the early 1500s. The continuity seems unlikely to be broken but with several sons and a daughter to consider,
John Partridge has his problems. Brian Trueman looks at a family watershed against the background of the autumn ploughing, the winter lambing and the summer harvest.

Wigan v Rochdale Hornets
Wigan last won the BBC2 trophy in 1968, the first time they entered the competition. They have a strong attacking side with players of flair such as winger Green Vigo , and full-back George Fair-bairn.
Rochdale were relegated from Division 1 in 1976, but last season under player-coach Kel Coslett , ex-St Helens captain, they came straight back to the first division. Their revitalised side should give Wigan a hard match.
Highlights of the match played earlier this evening at Central Park.
