An update on the action by DAVID VINE
with Peter Wright and artists of the Sadler's Wells Royal Ballet.
Giselle, first danced in 1841, is the most famous of romantic ballets to have survived. Peter Wright, Artistic Director of Sadler's Wells Royal Ballet, has produced this ballet all over the world. In this Master Class, with members of the company, Peter Wright looks at the acting and the mime in Act 1 of the ballet, rather than the steps, and together they tackle the most famous moment in the ballet - Giselle's mad scene.
