'It looked like an army camp in drag. That was the first impression ot a Lincoln hospital by an artist employed to brighten things up for both patients and staff. For the past year three artists, Terry Burbridge , Kan Furre and Dave Halliwell , have been working in two of the city's hospitals. This last Open Space in the present series follows the artists through their year's work and gets a refreshingly different view of hospital life.
