The programme made by young people returns with the first of six weekly surprises.
Tonight: Always Bite the Hand that Feeds....
'Young upstart takes over programme. Feelings were running high at the BBC today as programme controllers viewed this latest production. A spokesperson said, " It's a disgrace, we disown it." Early reports suggest that the programme is disrespectful and anarchic. Self-styled " artistic adviser" Michael Jones (1230, Scottish new-wave writer, refused to comment, but told a close friend: " It was a bit of a laugh, I liked the roller-skating best." '

A series of five films about ways of life in different parts of the world. 4: Raj Gonds - Reflections in a Peacock Crown
The Raj Gonds were once rich and powerful rulers of a large area of central India. Now they have lost much of their land and their former glory.
The festival of Dandari, held once a year, gives them a break from the daily round of work, and an opportunity to reflect on the state of their lives. It is a week of rituals, dancing and drama, when the Raj Gonds re-enact the legendary marriage of a god's grand-daughter to a Raj Gond hero. A group of young men from each village dress up as gods. They cover themselves with dust and ashes and wear huge headdresses of peacock feathers containing mirrors symbolising the eye of god. They travel from village to village, escorting boys dressed as the bride. Other villagers entertain them, performing sketches that mock their customs and their lowly position in Indian society.
