Hollywood's Oscar-winning story of an English family at war - of the indomitable Mrs Miniver, her husband Clem and their three children. William Wyler's classic film, produced in 1942 and starring one of the most successful screen partnerships of the 40s, won seven Academy Awards and, as propaganda for the British cause in America, was said by Churchill to be worth many a battleship.

with Sir Frederick Ashton Antoinette Sibley Anthony Dowell and Karen Paisey
Phillip Broomhead
In this new series, Master
Class goes behind the scenes in the world of dance. Sir
Frederick Ashton rehearses
Antoinette Sibley and Anthony Dowell in the pas de deux from his ballet The
Dream. It was this ballet, based on Shakespeare's A
Midsummer Night's Dream, that was the start of their world-famous partnership.
Anthony Dowell also passes on his knowledge of the ballet to Karen Paisey and Phillip Broomhead , two of the up-and-coming stars of the Royal Ballet, giving insight into the hard work that goes into the seemingly effortless performances seen from the stalls.

The US Masters from Augusta National Golf Club
Introduced by Steve Rider
They call this course 'the cathedral in the pines,' and every year the faithful gather and the legend grows.
Greg Norman has seen victory snatched away twice in succession. First by the old master Jack Nicklaus in 1986, and last year by the rookie Larry Mize in that incredible finish in the play-off.
This year could be Europe's turn. The strongest challenge comes in the form of half the victorious Ryder Cup team.
Sandy Lyle, Ian Woosnam, Nick Faldo, Ken Brown, Seve Ballasteros and Bernhard Langer are all in the field and all except Woosnam are winners on the US circuit.
