To celebrate his 90th birthday Review presents an unfinished story in two parts

"Picasso in his Time" tells of his life, his loves, his wars, his rise to fame through some of the most controversial paintings of our age. It also represents a unique folio of Picasso's current and yet unexhibited etchings and gives an exclusive picture of every stage of their production.

"Picasso Today" adds an intimate portrait of the man behind the legend in discussion with his friend and biographer Roland Penrose, President of the Institute of Contemporary Arts. It explores the ambiguous personality of the colossus of modern art who, at 90, shut away from the world behind the barbed wire of his Riviera mansion, is still busy adding to the 20,000 works that have changed the face of art.
