Maths: Conics
Written and presented by Ian Grimble
Scotland's past is intricately bound up with her fine heritage of castles, and in this series, Ian Grimble examines the architecture and history of 12 of the country's most splendid examples.
Culzean Castle is Robert Adam's masterpiece, dominating the coast of Ayrshire in what has been called the most beautiful national park in the British Isles. The last of the Kennedy castles to be built, its restoration has been the greatest triumph of the National Trust for Scotland. Here too, is Scotland's memorial to the Supreme Allied Commander of the Second World War, Dwight D. Eisenhower.

In this one, Clive finds an American prime-time crime show which is fun fun fun and includes a safe-cracker who does it in less than two minutes.
By satellite he talks to
Sylvester 'Rocky' Stallone's mother, who is every bit as extraordinary as one might expect, while his other two guests are the more ordinary but no less remarkable
Harold Evans and Howard Jacobson. And don't miss

Hue and Cry
'We were determined to squeeze the Apple dry,' says Gregory Kane. Musically speaking, that's exactly what he did, together with his brother Patrick. The result was their latest top-selling album Remote, written in Glasgow and realised in New York with the help of some of the world's top session musicians.
It's Hue and Cry's proud boast that they are one of the few bands who can also deliver that brilliant sound live on stage - a boast they fulfil tonight together with young sax player Tommy Smith and an 11-piece band.
Included in the set are the tracks Looking for Linda, Violently, and a haunting version of The Man with the Child in His Eyes.
