My Brother
David David Scarboro - who played Mark Fowler in EastEnders - fell to his death at Beachy Head last year. Simon, his younger brother, presents this tribute featuring David's achievements as well as his problems - problems made unbearable by the way the tabloid press harassed him, printing exaggerations and lies, hounding him to his death.

Eddy Grant
You could say the Equals were the original two-tone band. Three blacks, two whites and Eddy Grant 's famous blond wig. From Goldilocks to dreadlocks, from Viva Bobby Joe to
Give Me Hope Jo 'Anna, Eddy has come a long way.
Born in Guyana, brought up in London and now enjoying a paradise lifestyle in Barbardos, times have often been tough, but Eddy's talent and fierce independence have earned him his place in the sun as well as total artistic freedom. His musical style cannot be categorised, drawing as it does on rock, reggae and pop influences to name but a few. Researchers

Newpin: a Lifeline
The NSPCC reports that over 40,000 British children risk neglect, or sexual or physical abuse. And many of them will grow up to neglect or abuse their own children. Depression, too, runs in families.
'Newpin' is an organisation which believes that these destructive patterns can be broken, by concentrating on the mothers of young children. Women get constant support from others who share their problems, and this, together with intensive psychotherapy, achieves remarkable results. 'I don't think anyone could have been more damaged than me,' says Barbara, now setting up another branch of Newpin. 'Look at me now. And if I can do it, anyone can.'
Newpin is not only successful - it is cheap.
