Yeats's words "too much beauty for luck" sprangtomind when writer Edna O'Brien chanced upon the story of a missing young mother and child. A week later their bodies were discovered in Cregg Wood in County Clare, just miles from where O'Brien was born and raised. Her controversial new novel In the Forest is a fictionalised account of the tragedy. This documentary follows O'Brien as she talks with local people who knew both the victims and the murderer, and explains how and why she wrote the book.

A re-edited and updated version of this football documentary, first shown in June 2000, about the highs and lows of England's national team since 1966. This first part begins with former England players recalling their World Cup triumph at Wembley Stadium in 1966, and continues with defeat at the hands of West Germany in Mexico four years later and the sacking of Alf Ramsey in 1974. Then 1986, when hopes were raised, only to be dashed - ominously - by Argentina in the quarter-finals. Concludes tomorrow at 8.30pm.
