Omm Set!
' Omm Seti means mother of Seti.' This is how Dorothy Eady described herself to the tourists who visited her at the temple of the great Pharaoh Seti the First at Abydos.
At the age of three she fell down stairs and was taken for dead. She recovered, but in a strange new metamorphosis. She became increasingly convinced that she had led an earlier existence as a priestess in ancient Egypt. OMM SET! tells the story of how she became obsessed with the temple in the shadow of which she lived and with its builder King Seti. She died shortly before the film was first shown last May.

Gorilla G. Gorilla
N'Pongo is pregnant. Quite how is a mystery. For Jambo - the Jersey Zoo's virile male gorilla - has all this time been penned in an adjoining den. While N'Pongo awaits the arrival of her fifth baby, an eminent zoologist is performing a delicate operation. Jambo lies anaesthetised in the zoo's operating theatre. Small electrical charges are passed through his body to make him ejaculate. Jambo is exceptionally fertile, his semen is in demand from zoos throughout the world.
As man's closest living relative will probably be extinct in the wild in about 20 years time, it is through gorillas in captivity that the species has become a little less endangered. Its line becomes even surer, when N'Pongo finally prepares herself and gives birth, an event never before recorded. The baby is a girl - called Kumi.
