Diary of an Olympic Athlete
The story of British international 400m runner David Jenkins and his coach David Hemery (Gold Medallist at the Mexico Olympics) during seven months of their preparations for the Montreal Olympics. Gateshead in December, California in April, London and Brussels in June - Jenkins's gradual build-up reaches its climax when he has to undergo all the strains and tensions of Olympic competition in Montreal in July.
