Commentators JOHN ARLOTT and JIM LAKER
' He has an authentic Yorkshire accent, a dry humour, a deliberately laconic delivery and a deceptively fast reaction to any movement or action on the field. Among long-distance observers of a rapid incident he is more likely than anyone else to read it accurately.' JOHN ARLOTT On JIM LAKER in Armchair Cricket.

Chinese Spirit Mediums
Narrated by william LUCAS
Soh Tee Kia, Lim Kai Cheng and Tai Kia Chooi are spirit mediums. They are diviners, healers and comforters to many Singapore Chinese who seek daily help from one of the many influential spirit gods.
But these three mediums are also skilled performers, under trance, in enduring physical pain to prove themselves powerfully possessed.
Their theatrical and brutal spectacles at large temple festivals, particularly to honour the entertaining and mischievous Monkey God, can be good self-advertisement and also an effective way for their cults' powerful sponsors to enhance their local prestige. Presented by SUE PUGH
