The film focuses on six groups who play everything from traditional rhythms to the infectious modern dance beat of mbaqanga. Artists featured include the Soul Brothers, who have been favourites on the South
African scene for over a decade: veteran blues singer Tandie Klaasen : and Peto, a band of young black and white musicians who believe that music can be a powerful unifying force.
