Hit or miss? One of the original pop shows of the 60s is back tonight with Jools Holland in the chair. For those of you too young to remember the format, Jools will discuss the week's new singles with four diverse panellists who pronounce the judgment 'hit' or 'miss'.

In the case of a split decision, three members of the audience will decide whether the record 'makes it' or not.

A mystery guest adds intrigue. This week's guest panellists include Julian Clary and Isaac Hayes.

Second of twoprogrammes Adventure: The Climbers Tonight, two contrasting climbs - and not a snowflake in either of them.
First, on the small island of Foula, the most remote of the Shetlands, is the highest sea-cliff in Britain - the unclimbed 1,300ft Kame.
Seventeen-year-old
Abigail Mann , a keen but inexperienced climber, heard about the Kame; in three months she put together an expedition of some of the best climbers in the country.
Second, Catherine Destivelle , one of the fastest freestyle climbers in the world, relies on perfect co-ordination and her steely finger-tips as she defies gravity on a wind-swept Saharan rock-face.
Far below, the local people watch in amazement.
