Group B: America, Wales Belgium and Sweden
The 1980 World Team Championship brings together 24 of the world's best players, and tonight the first two matches are featured. England v Australia America v Belgium
The favourites and holders, England, led by John Lowe with Tony Brown and World Champion Eric Bristow , play Australia, captained by Terry O'Dea.
The number two seeds, America, with captain Nicky Virachkul , battle against new entrants, Belgium, captained by Daniel Serie. Total prize money of £42,500 is at stake - E25,000 of which goes to the first player with a nine-dart checkout in this seven-day competition.
