Inspector Gannon of the Canadian Mounted Police is pledged to keep the peace with the Sioux but to do so involves grappling with a Montana rancher and his hired gunmen seeking vengeance on Indian horse thieves.

Ram Dass, formerly Dr Richard Alpert of the Department of Psychology at Harvard University, talks to Bernard Levin about his search for enlightenment in the last of this series of eight conversations. The search took him to India, where he found a Guru. Now back in America, he himself is regarded by many as a Guru of alternative ways of living.

Martha Graham 's dance drama is the first full-length classic in modern dance history. It is an intensely personal reworking of AESCHYLUS'S trilogy, the Oresteia, seen through the mind of Clytemnestra. The action takes place in the Underworld, shortly after Clytemnestra's death at the hands of her son Orestes. She re-lives the tragic events of the Trojan War, the sacrifice of her daughter Iphigenia, and the murders of her husband Agamemnon, and her lover Aegisthus. By understanding her past, she hopes that the gods will judge her kindly.
