The programme in which the BBC hands over air time to the public. This evening: Woodland Rescue presented by The Woodland Trust 'If you go down to the woods today ... you may be surprised to find the woodlands you knew as a child have disappeared. ' Twelve years ago I was really a bad guy in this society, an acid head thrown out of Harvard and all that. Now I'm a good guy in the society. Maybe I'll be a bad guy someday. It's just the flow, just the dance.'
Ram Dass, formerly Dr Richard Alpert of the Department of Psychology at Harvard University, talks to Bernard Levin about his search for enlightenment in the last of this series of eight conversations. The search took him to India, where he found a Guru. Now back in America, he himself is regarded by many as a Guru of alternative ways of living.

Cast in order of appearance
Narrator CHRISTOPHER PLUMMER
Martha Graham 's dance drama is the first full-length classic in modern dance history. It is an intensely personal reworking of AESCHYLUS'S trilogy, the Oresteia, seen through the mind of Clytemnestra. The action takes place in the Underworld, shortly after Clytemnestra's death at the hands of her son Orestes. She re-lives the tragic events of the Trojan War, the sacrifice of her daughter Iphigenia, and the murders of her husband Agamemnon, and her lover Aegisthus. By understanding her past, she hopes that the gods will judge her kindly.
