in America
As Britain celebrates the Silver Jubilee, James Bellini visits the United States to find out how
Americans see us.
In The Money Programme Louis Rukeyser, presenter of the financial television programme Wall Street Week, and Hughes Rudd , who introduces a breakfast-hour news special each morning from CBS studios, talk to JAMES BELLINI about Britain.
Each week they both express their views to tens of millions of Americans. What they say can greatly affect the ideas that the American people hold. So how do they view us? What are the problems - economic, social and political - that they believe Britain faces? And how important do Americans consider us to be?

The National Youth Jazz
Orchestra on Tour in Scotland
Twenty-six young jazz musicians, most still in their teens, form the most exciting big band in Britain. Earlier this year they took to the road - bodies, baggage and instruments crammed aboard their band coach just like the classic big bands of the 30s - and toured Scotland, playing an exhausting series of one-night stands.
This is an impression of what it was like to tour with NYJO, with music from their final public concert in Edinburgh.
