When Ingmar Bergman produced his own version of Mozart's opera The Magic Flute, he had his cameramen ready to film him, the orchestra and singers at every stage of the rehearsals. As that title would be too long for any screen, television or otherwise, it was decided to use the director's final orders: Stand by to Shoot.
