The Bird Men of Steyning Bowl
Hang-gliding, a new sport in the sky, is growing all over the country, but there are risks. Two British pilots have died trying to beat the world's soaring record.
The first Hang-Gliding Championships were held this summer at Steyning Bowl in Sussex, and Bob Fisher jumped off with some of the competitors to experience at first hand the pleasures and problems of this young sport of flying enthusiasts.
