Next week 100,000 football fans will pack into Wembley Stadium for the second leg of the World Cup qualifying match between England and Poland. Among them will be many Poles and people of Polish descent. The first leg was played earlier this year in Katowice, and among the supporters who followed England to that match were five British-born Poles, three from London, one from Newcastle, one from Manchester.
Tonight's special film made for Polish television by Boleslaw Sulik and David Kaden focuses on the dilemma of loyalties they face as they see England lose-or should it be Poland win; and their experiences and emotions as they visit relatives and homes which their own parents left behind at the end of the Second World War.
