A series of six films about the lives of people who have achieved success working in Paris.

There is no real equivalent in England to the French poet-singer, and Francis Lemarque is a leading exponent of the art. Apart from performing his own work he has written songs for international stars like Yves Montand, Maurice Chevalier, and the late Edith Piaf. Lemarque is seen in this film against the background of the city that inspired him.
