Gordon Stent went blind six years ago. He was then running his own business-ironically he was a lighting consultant. He retired to Bournemouth and started to make a new life.
This film centres on this remarkable man who refused to allow his blindness to stop him doing what he wanted-and what he wanted to do was to become the first blind artist. He has developed a technique for drawing representational pictures and in tonight's film he demonstrates this technique and talks about his life since he went blind.
