Do you ever forget things and get in a muddle? Today's story is about a schoolgirl who is very forgetful. Wellington boots, football boots, and a pair of very old boots come into the story Miranda tells on Wednesday, and on Friday Rick finds a piano in Play School and uses it to tell a story.
There are lots of games in Play School this week: "Simon Says" and jumping-over-puddles game are just two that Miranda and Rick ask you to play with them. Would you like to go across the sea, riding just above the waves? On Wednesday, the windows show some people travelling this way - in a giant hovercraft.

Featuring the flamenco guitar of Paco Pena and Alegria and Angelita Theodosis in a programme of Spanish folk song and dance.

Paco Pena is a flamenco guitarist who now lives and teaches in London His first BBC-tv appearance was with Julie Felix last year, and he has since been seen in Dee Time and several times in Late Night Line-Up.
Alegria and Angelita Theodosis were born in Greece but now live in Spain. They have a company of Spanish dancers and sing and play the guitar. Their speciality is the songs of Lorca. Tonight's performance in Musica de Espana is their first TV appearance in this country.

This film was awarded three citations when it was shown at the Boston, Massachusetts Festival. It was also shown at the 1962 Edinburgh Festival, but was never given a general release in this country.
It was shot on location in Dingle Bay, County Kerry, and many of the cast came from the production of the play at Dublin's Abbey Theatre.
The language, not surprisingly is Irish through and through, and shot with Synge's inimitable poetry. Superb acting from a distinguished cast, which includes the incomparable Siobhan McKenna as the put-upon Pegeen, makes it a film to remember.
