Gradually she realises that the central character in the thriller bears an uncanny and indeed terrifying resemblance to herself.

Glenn Miller, one of the most notable dance band musicians of his time, became one of the great morale boosters when he joined the U.S. Air Force during the Second World War. He died tragically when a single-engined plane in which he was flying to Paris disappeared over the English Channel.
