A film by Raymond Rouleau
Starring Ludmila Tcherina

This French film, with English sub-titles, mixes legend, dream, and reality; it includes many extended dance sequences. A group of strolling players perform the legend of 'The Lovers of Teruel'; Isa plays the part of Isabella in this tragic story of thwarted faithfulness in love. She finds that her own life echoes that of the heroine in the legend.
