How to live with animals and look after them.
Introduced by Di Fisher with Robin Borwick and Peter West.

After centuries of harsh treatment the donkey has become a fashionable pet. About ten thousand of them are now kept in this country as domestic animals. Prices go from £30 for a plain, grey 'Neddy' to £300 or more for a rare mare in skewbald colours of brown and white.
A report on the care and cost of keeping donkeys, from Ruffs Orchard Donkey Stud, near Maidenhead.

When a woman is found dead in the early morning by the side of a railway line Hardy is brought in to help the police with their investigations. Dead women, trains, wedding rings, a lipstick, and a glove are all links in this macabre investigation.
