Almost Human: People with Long Ears

on BBC Two England

How to live with animals and look after them.
Introduced by Di Fisher with Robin Borwick and Peter West.

After centuries of harsh treatment the donkey has become a fashionable pet. About ten thousand of them are now kept in this country as domestic animals. Prices go from £30 for a plain, grey 'Neddy' to £300 or more for a rare mare in skewbald colours of brown and white.
A report on the care and cost of keeping donkeys, from Ruffs Orchard Donkey Stud, near Maidenhead.
