"There's a constant challenge in it. There's more thrill in doing six knots to windward in a yacht than there is in doing 80 m.p.h. in a car"

A film story of the annual yacht race from Port Bannatyne on the Firth of Clyde to Tobermory on the island of Mull-a race that takes three days, through some of the finest sailing waters and loveliest scenery in the world.
Magnus Magnusson introduces the film, which follows in particular the fortunes of Christina, Lola, and St. Mary, three of the 100-odd yachts which took part in this year's race.
