Today Ian McMillan explores the epic. Christopher Logue , who has devoted much of his life to breathing new life into The Iliad, reads from All Day Permanent Red, his latest version of Homer. He is joined by Derrek Hines , author of a new version of the Babylonian epic,
Gilgamesh, and they consider other epics, new and old. Plus a look at the opposite extreme of language: the minutiae of the personal advertisement.
