Anita is dreading her court appearance after being charged with stealing cigarettes, but Drazic, on the same charge, could be facing a prison sentence. Mai offers to cook Ryan a meal but has to own up that it was a take-away when he gets food poisoning. Kat, who was determined to be on the inter-school quiz team when she discovered the final is televised, has her nose put out of joint when she is overlooked, but Ryan's illness puts him out of the quiz and Kat then has to be pleaded with to take his place.

The £210,000 first prize draws closer as World Championship quarter-final action continues from Sheffield's Crucible.
Providing the form-book hasn't been turned upside-down in the earlier qualifying rounds, this evening's programme could feature further action from one of the top matches of the tournament, defending champion Stephen Hendry against Ronnie O'Sullivan, a semi-finalist last year.
On table two, the scheduled match should be either Peter Ebdon or Alain Robidoux against Dave Harold or Alan McManus.
Introduced by David Vine.

Continuing Steven Bochco's legal drama, starring Anthony LaPaglia

Attorneys Wyler and Grasso present their closing arguments in the Sharon Rooney trial as the jury reaches a verdict. But the case takes a twist when Wyler meets with an underworld figure, Carmine D'Nardis, who has been arrested for murder and offers to testify against more than a dozen Mafia hitmen in exchange for immunity. D'Nardis also claims he knows the real identity of the person who murdered the Governor of California and his lover.

Meanwhile, in the Rickey Latrell murder trial, Aaron Mosely clashes with Chris Docknovich, maintaining that as a fellow Afro-American he is best suited to argue bail for the basketball hero. Whoever pleads the case, Latrell will need to find several million dollars to stay out of jail.
