1.30 Grand Prix
Live coverage of the Portuguese Grand Prix from Estoril as Britain's Damon Hill aims to clinch the Formula One world championship. Hill will be crowned champion for the first time if he finishes ahead of his Williams team-mate Jacques Villeneuve, or if his Canadian rival fails to finish in the top three. Hill spun out of the Italian Grand Prix a fortnight ago but Villeneuve's failure to finish in the points has made Hill's 13-point lead look more commanding. Triumph in this penultimate race of the season would be particularly sweet for Hill, whose contract with Williams has not been renewed for 1997.
Highlights of the race can be seen at 9.50pm on BBC Two.
