Winner of the 1992 Perrier Best Newcomer award, Harry Hill combines the visual gags and slapstick routines of old-time comedians with an element of modern surrealism.
The six silent black and white films were apparently filmed at his mother's house with a Super 8mm camera, and feature a supporting cast of comics from London's cabaret circuit, including in this episode Brenda Gilhooly.
