Naked Washington
George Bush's press secretary
Marlin Fitzwater turns reporter to examine Washington's deteriorating relationship with the press.
The relentless pressures within the White House have long been recognised as making it a graveyard for marriages and personal relationships, but those working in government have come increasingly under the scrutiny of the press. Whereas Kennedy's indiscretions were never publicised at the time, three decades later Clinton finds himself accused of womanising and financial mismanagement.
Fitzwater asks what has gone wrong - is it the fault of the politicians, or has the press become too vindictive?

Andrew Weston-Webb used to be a successful executive with a family and lots of money. Now he's known as the Battersea Bush Man, living entirely on what other people throw away. He scavenges for his food outside markets and makes sculptures from other people's rubbish.
During the filming of this documentary he met an old school foe at a reunion dinner and was forced to re-evaluate his life. He discovered that although it was the break-down of his marriage that prompted him to walk away from his affluent lifestyle, his feelings of "separateness" from the world started in childhood. And it was the behaviour of his parents - in particular his father - which led to him to reject a "normal" life to find some sense of self.

Followed by Sarajevo - a Street under Siege
