International Championship Scotland v Wales from Glasgow
The first of this three-match series between England, Scotland and Wales.
Both sides have many new faces. Scotland have eight - and, consequently, seasoned internationals like Chris Angel , Drew O'Neil and Harry Patterson , together with that old campaigner Rab Smith , now back into county darts, have all lost their places. PETER MASSON is still captain.
Wales include World Masters semi-finalist CHRIS JOHNS , from Glamorgan, with three other newcomers. Out go players of the calibre of Wayne Locke and Martin Thomas , also Glamorgan.
It should be a tight match on Scotland's home ground, but Wales must just about be favourite to win.
